Oh man, its been too long. I feel like I'm sitting down for a cup of tea with a friend I desperately need to catch up with!

Well update on kittens: They all found perfect sweet homes except for sweet little Olive! My roommate and I decided to keep her and she has become besties with Galaxy.

I cannot get over how big she is already! And such a beauty. She's feisty and mischeivious and I never know where she is! She's not hiding, she's sneaky!

And she plays coy with those fox ears and big eyes!

I can't believe how fast they grow! Galaxy brings so much fun to my etsy shoots. Running around curious, climbing trees and meowing at me. Following me every where. I have to show her climbing and tree hugging abilities off :) I'm such a proud mama.

For Christmas we went to Washington state to visit my boyfriend's parents. They got me some really neat gifts including these gorgeous boots!

And Jordan and I spent about 100 photo booth pictures goofing off with Dodger their sweet pooch.

Basically, the holidays were good. I missed spending them with my family and wish everyone lived closer. A big New Year's resolution of mine is to spend more time making contact with my family. Even if it's just through facebook or texts... I really want them to know I think about them all the time and love them dearly! Family is so important, and I think I have really just recently understood how important. I always have made my friends a priority and I feel in the past, haven't put the deserved energy into my fam. Anyways, I'm already doing better!

Kittens Coming out My EARS!

Ok, not really. But... remember Barnaby? He was really a she. We still call her Barnaby though. She had 4 baby kittens several weeks ago in a little canyon on the side of our property. What to do with these little babes? Well, we were able to catch and bottle feed two of these wild babies and are currently looking for homes for them.

Then I caught, the sweetest of all sweets, a 3rd the other evening. A little girl, who I named Olive.

Much more scared because she is older than the others and even though it's only been a few weeks her brother and sister who we caught earlier seem to have forgotten her. I am still trying to get that last one, the fourth kitten. I haven't seen it, so I don't know if it's still around our property. So, I think they are about 7 weeks now. And they need good, sweet, perfect homes. They are all amazingly dear. Fat Man, which is what I call the boy, is HUGE already. He eats everything and he is so affectionate. The first little girl, is GORGEOUS and has a black and silver body with a white diamond of fur on her neck. Olive, is just the coolest. She's still warming up to her new everything but she is a purrer!
With these little kittens around I have done NOTHING (I have been working my day job too!)! Except take care of them and cuddle them and today, I finally started to update my etsy shop. Which I am sorta re-doing. I was hating my pictures and wanted to make it look better. Anyways, hope you have little balls of fluff and love in your life! And if you live close and want one of the best kittens ever, let me know!

I went to the California state fair last Sunday, as a staff trip. I got to see cows! Which I love, but I love them better roaming in wide pastures eating wild grass as far as the eye can see.

I only had my cellphone, so the pictures are hipstamic!

I got to see fireworks since it was the last night!

On a different note, I lost the little plate for my tripod that connects the camera. So my etsy pictures aren't of me modeling for my latest shoot. I'm kinda bummed and e-mailed the company that my tripod is from. I'm hoping I can get this part asap!

My boyfriend and I were driving in Sacramento the other day kinda lost and bitchy. We were both annoyed and very tense with each other, when we got to where we were going I saw (of course I noticed), it was across the street from a huge thrift store!. I didn't ask to go though, because I knew I was in trouble with my man. As we left I was looking at my phone and not looking up, but we pulled in somewhere and guess where Jordan drove us? The thrift store! I love him. He's the best. Ha. Needless to say, I couldn't be mad at him for the rest of the day! I scored on a couple items there, for me and for the shop! I also stopped by an estate sale today and got two amazing vintage sterling silver rings for me! I love them so.

I want to write letters. I remember when I was younger I lived in an apartment and a girl across the hall's mail would get put in my box accidently. They were always beautiful, colorful, drawn, splattered, and love made envelopes. I want to write letters like that and get letters like that. Want to?

So, I worked a stupidly long day today. But I have tomorrow off so thank the gods.

I went to Yosemite a few days before three people were swept away by a waterfall. Yosemite felt like an amusement park. I really didn't like it. Its amazinging beautiful, but also something else. I felt bad for the animals, the deer getting fed bread by fat little children.

My boyfriend turns 27 tomorrow.

Amy Winehouse died yesterday, along with a local guy with addiction issues in my hometown. It hurts my heart, but also I hope these souls find power and peace in their next venture in time and space.

Times are weird and if I have to deal with one more fucking customer that doesn't know what size coffee they want after waiting in line for a half hour, something will happen to me. For better or worse.

I worked on the fourth, but as soon as I got off I headed down to meet some friends at the lake! I spent the rest of the hot, daylight hours like this, sippin' and floating! with my friends around me, playing washers, snacking, laughing, and hanging out.

We barbequed some veggie dogs, corn on the cob, turkey burgers, potatoes, and shared a bottle of whiskey. Oh and we had s'mores later. Which the boys drunkenly proclaimed were the best s'mores they had ever eaten/made.

Unfortunately, from our little camp spot we couldn't see any fireworks. I was a bit bummed and next year my goal is to see some! We could hear them in the distance though :( I could see the beautiful moon in the warm summer sky though.

Waking up the next morning in the tent, happy to be alive! Here's my silly and amazing boyfriend. Who always wakes up way before me!

Away They Go!

Two of my very best friends and their baby moved to Germany on Wednesday.

My boyfriend, Jordan met Anthony while working with him at the local venue and hub of our little town, Cozmic Cafe. Anthony and Jordan both love to rap and I got to know Anthony better when they began working on a recording project together with a few other close friends called, Oaks. Many late nights, writing they would spend, while I made jewelry or sewed trying to soak in some of their crazy, creative energy. Anthony is also one of my brother's best friends. The summer we had that apartment Anthony met his love and native German, Livia. Livia is the sweetest, and became a fast friend to me with her smile that fills her whole face and her sweet voice and cute accent.

Not too long after they fell in love they found out they were pregnant and had a beautiful wedding. I love this picture of them. Livia is holding a wedding gift, a quartz crystal in front of her big round baby belly. They have always had so much faith in each other. They knew from the beginning that they were to go on this life's journey together.

Livia had their baby at home with a midwife and sweet, little Lian was born a big boy, 9+ pounds! When Anthony told the birth story he was so amazed by his wife and her strength! She's very inspiring to me.

Livia, who teaches German at one of the local high schools went back to work and Anthony stayed home with Lian. Livia pumped her breast milk and also Anthony would take the baby to be fed during Livia's breaks! Here is Lian with his mama's milk pumped for him! What a lucky boy.

I feel so lucky to be able to have been apart of Lian's first year. He's getting so big. Here are two pictures of me with Lian, the first one around Christmas and the second one very recent.

They will have a lot of opportunities in Germany. Their little boy will be bilingual. Livia will be close to her mom. Teaching wages are higher and housing is less expensive. They are excited and ready for a change. I'm happy for them. But I miss them already. Its hard to see good friends go so far away... but hopefully a trip to Germany is in store!!!

Between my pendulum learning, my gorilla lady reading, bakery working, thrifting, boyfriend lovin', chicky and kitty children-- I forget to take outfit pictures and any other pictures :( And blogging is no fun without pictures. BUT Guess what? We have a Thai food place in our little town now! And I got a bigger memory card so I can make movies on my camera! And lots and lots a good thrift store finds (so much some of it hasn't made it out of the trunk of my car). Isn't that horrible?

Besides art and fashion, I really love history. I really love cultures, people their stories, their lives, and I love animals.
I've never really liked school. I've always had a hard time with studying and writing about things I really don't care about. I hate that you have to take general ed and spend time and money on subjects that past a certain point aren't interesting. I do feel knowledge on a wide range of topics is incredibly valuable... it is more of an attention span issue on my end. I honestly can't retain things that don't connect with me. I also have to connect with a teacher on a level and respect that is hard to create sometimes. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that I have to work while going to school and so much of my energy is taking by my day job that it unfortunately leaves very little to invest in classes. I have to takes classes "just for fun", without any pressure or greater expectations or I stress the fuck out.
Anyways, with that said I love learning about things that are cool to me. I did take several anthropology classes at the local jr. college... kinda just for fun or in phases where I thought I wanted to be a real college student. I wish I could I consistently work and learn and pay all my money... happily. I'm really not against school and skills and I hope to someday make money and be stoked (and possibly go back to school for real to do it.) I just haven't gotten there yet. Anyways, I really did especially love physical anthropology when I took classes... evolution, animals, primates, questions, history, digging in the dirt, bones, life, death, Darwin, language, communitation, botany, earth, UGHHHHH! It does excite me.
And vintage clothing and culture and art and fabrics all fit into this passion and this interest for me. Its all history and life. And that is why I love hunting and finding artifacts of fashion. It also inspired my shop name, its the three physical remains of a species... bones, teeth, and antlers. BONETOOTHANTLER.
Also, I am reading the coolest book about the life of Dian Fossey who lived in Africa studying mountain gorillas. Its called Woman in The Mists. I really love it and she is such an inspiration following her passion to death, she was killed by poachers. I would really love to do a post on her when I finish this beyond amazing book that includes her journal entries and research. She writes, "Neither destiny nor fate took me to Africa. Nor romance. I had a deep wish to see and live with wild animals in a world that hadn't been completely changed by humans."

This post kind of took off on its own little path... hope it somehow made a little circle like it did in my mind!

Today is so freaking pretty! I can't even take it! Its my idea of perfect weather, truly! I've been outside trying to take pictures of new items for my etsy shop... I use a tripod and the self- timer function on my camera while modeling the vintage items. I'm still trying to perfect this strategy, but it actually seems to be working decently so far. I have 2 bali, cut work dresses that will be listed soon, a black one and a white one.

I have several more items that I am trying to list asap! I am really excited about all the cute dresses I have been finding! But honestly, this whole etsy business is a lot harder and more time consuming then I expected. But I have soooo much stuff to get into my shop and I just keep finding more and that definitely adds to the overwhelmingness!!

Hella Busy!

So, right after my birthday party I got hella busy. Hella in the way that only a nor cal girl could say it and mean it!!!! Actually when visiting the east coast last year a bartender in Philly was from Berkeley, Ca and he loved talking to me because I said hella and he said it made him feel nostalgic... he could have just been giving me shit because I was drunk. Anyways... my birthday party was so killer!!! I loved it, we had a little keg and jello shots and crazy dancy music. I danced so hard that I honestly up until a couple days ago thought I had caused some major injury to my shoulder. I still have something stuck deep in my foot from walking into the trees barefoot to find the moon. I couldn't see it that night because of the clouds, but I did see it mid day... even then it was huge and bright and energizing. It really was the best night and I was happy happy for days after just remember silly moments and my friends faces in my little house. I actually have very few pictures... unfortunately. But this is my roomie and I right after we were done dressing up in our tough biker chic regalia. I actually even had a fake Harley Davidson tattoo!

I edited this picture a tad to make it sorta 80s looking just because I am a dork like that! After my birthday 2 of my roommates friends road tripping to Alaska came and spent two nights with us. So, we cooked dinner and talked about life and fixed our chicken cage... A fox (I think). broke into our little night pen where our chickadees sleep and ate one. Just like in Fantastic Mr. Fox. I have sooooo many emotions about the circle of life and living out in the woods and only having 2 chickens left! (We've had 10 altogether). I am sad and depressed and wouldn't want to have our chickies anything but free range, yet I love them so and it breaks my heart to loose another little bird life. It was Dumpling. The sweetest of our girls. The most friendly. Here I am givin my little lady a kiss...

I miss her. But foxes have to eat too. And I am not a vegetarian... We don't kill our chickens for meat, they are for laying eggs... but there has been talk of trying to catch Mr. (or Mrs.) Fox and relocate it or something... but what if its a mama? What if it have baby puppy foxes or cubs or whatever they are. Fucking cute little things. Ugh. At least my little girl kitten, Galaxy is healthy and growing and smart. She's getting so big and beautiful!!!!

Also my boyfriends band, The Bank, which is super cool, played a show in Santa Cruz, so I got to go hang out and drink beer with a straw (why is that so weird?). And Dance!!!

Also, the next day we went into a little town called Felton, where they had an amazing thrift store where I got the awesomest (really) black burlesque/ square dance skirt. Outfit post pending. Also, in Felton we went to Henry Cowell's National Forest. And we went off the trail and into the woods. It was so beautiful and such a change of pace from the night before.

Anyways, the weather has been great the last couple days and I've been wearing dresses and going to the river (haven't gotten in yet! The water is snow melt and cooooolllld!). I am so excited about sun and all the great things and activities that comes with the weather! Jordan and I went running this morning and I made breakfast, eggs and banana waffles, we lounged for a bit and then went to get sandwiches and to meet friends at the river, then off to run a few errands at the bicycle shop getting Jordan's axel fixed and playing with the electric bikes and the bike shop dog whose first birthday was today! And I'm not going out tonight... I worky work early early! 6 am tomorrow morning, so doing laundry and going to bed is as exciting as this Friday night is gonna get! Hope everyone is as happy as me!!

Valentine's Day!

My boyfriend Jordan has spent the last couple months organizing a local band love song compilation and concert called "Placerday in Valenville". (if anyone wants to buy a CD let me know and I will set up a listing on my etsy for ya.) The title of the album is a word-play on our town Placerville and Valentine's day. All proceeds go to the non-profit organization, The Center for Non- Violent Relationships. So I expected him to be a little Valentined out... BUT....

My Valentine's Day was sweet. I am so happy to have a honey that will celebrate this silly holiday with me! I really love hearts and love and a little day to cherish each other (even though I do believe you should be romantic and loving all year round!). The thing is... Jordan really did go out of his way to do EVERYTHING I wanted for an entire day!!!

I went over to his house and gave him a little flourless fudge cake from the bakery I work at and a flannel shirt I thrifted for him... a few days ago when I went to a thrift store a little further from home then I normally go ((The Salvation Army in Auburn, Ca)).

Jordan and I spent the day, first by getting snacks at our favorite little local grocery store called Noah's Ark and then going to three different thrift stores where I found the coolest little rug for my bedroom that has swans on it and two dresses from the 70s for my etsy shop. We went out for a late lunch to try to escape the dinner crowds (didn't really work) at our little sushi spot in town, American Ichi. It was so good too, we got some appetizers we normally don't get. And then we went and saw True Grit. I don't know why it's still in the theater, but I had wanted to see it since it first came out. Anyways... it was so good. I just heard that the girl in it is Jerry Seinfield's daughter. But she was so headstrong and really had true grit! Oh, and then we went home and cuddled, ate cake, and fell asleep to the Pixar movie, Despicable Me which was actually super cute. I am a happy girl!!!

My boyfriend and I had a little dinner at my house for one of my favorite people, my friend Jimbo! I wrote about him here. I made vegan (Jim is vegan) nachos with fresh pico de gallo and we had our canned homemade hot sauce from last summer's peppers from our little garden.

We just chatted about life and Jim is extremely well read, lives like a monk, has an incredible laugh and is just fun. He makes me think about life a lot differently and easier and sillier after I talk to him.

We talked about astrology and he informed me he has the same birthday as Whoopi Goldberg.

Looking For!!!!

I just put 2 ads in the Gold Panner, the local little free classifieds. I am so excited! Haha. I put a looking for vintage clothes ad and a looking for a dress form ad! I am hoping some magical attics full of velvet and lace dress are out there!... They have to be! As well as a retired dress form I can snatch up! No need to buy a new one if there is one in a garage unused!

My hours at work have been getting fewer and fewer and I now have the time to actually run and shop for a little vintage etsy store. As well as I have been working on some handmade jewelry... And now that I have a legit camera, my sweet Nikon girl... Anyways I am excited and curious to see what comes out of the community as far as clothes, the thrift stores around here are gettin' sorta competitive with all the etsy shops :)

I did have a lady that comes into the bakery I work at bring me 2 vintage dresses, just because she noticed my style! I LOVE shit like that, it makes me love life dearly!

A few years ago, on a lunar eclipse canoe trip.

My best friend, Jen turned 26! Its weird to go from slumber parties with ouija boards in 5th grade to white Russians in hotel rooms! But actually we did pull out the same ouija board we had at those little girl parties for this years night at the Cary House, cuz well the Cary House is supposedly haunted and who can resist a little spirit action a little tipsy? Not I.

We had a good dinner at a nice restaurant and a busser spilled our waters on us! It was exciting and we as well as the cute, young busser were good sports about it. I got Jen a cat face lipstick and vintage unicorn drink coasters (I found them at the thriftstore!) She loves cats and unicorns.

Jen lives in San Francisco now and has only the weekends off... which sucks because I have to beg to get a weekend off. Anyways, I love her and I am so happy I got to spend her birthday with her! By the end of the night pictures started to get blurry!

I went to the Dr. today. I'm healthy. I weigh 104 pounds. My Gally Gal Galaxy kitten is curled up next to me. What a silly little babe. I'm trying not to eat a lot of sugar. Its not working very well. I am flossing more though. Galaxy flosses with my braids.

I went a little edit crazy with this picture, but I like it. I gots the house to myself for a bit tonight. I am trying not to eat all the little crunchy chocolate ball things I love. My teeth are not happy with me and I am a sugar addict. So I MUST fucking quit and get a little less addicted. I am obviously a skinny girl. 104 pounds is the most I've ever weighed and I am proud. Loud and proud. I got a flicker account. Nothing uploaded yet. I have so many artistic endeavors to set out upon/// Its overwhelming. I'm suppose to be recording a song for a Valentine's compilation. I have to say I am proud of my accomplishments this year. It wasn't a bad year. I am happy.
New Year's Eve was fun, except I got really drunk which I never do... and acted psycho. Dang. I guess I was due for some crazy energy leaving me. Nothing too bad happened though. I just told some drunk guys trying to take advantage of little girls they were creeps and I was gonna beat the shit out of them... which I would have but didn't have to because they were scared or something.

Guess what? Another fucking cat showed up at my house!!! He wonders outside and meows to me and I am falling in love. I don't know if it's a boy or a girl, but I named it Barnaby. Two of my very dearest friends got married this last Sunday. We all huddled together under make- shift tents and umbrellas taking sips of tequila to warm our bodies, because our hearts were already warmed by the love and intentions these sweet souls were declaring to each other.

Bridget looked completely stunning in her raw silk dress, made by Becky Carter of Velvet Leaf, who I pray to GOD will someday make my dress! Bridget is a little boho goddess and wore an orange rose and a blue feather in her braided bun. I know she had wanted to be barefoot, but the weather wasn't exactly complying. But the rain gods were behaving. She bundled herself only in a thin piece of magenta indian fabric and got married!!!!!! I am so excited for this boy and girl! They are super artistic and magical.

The party was of course rocking as well, which had to be moved to our local hub, Cozmic Cafe owned by another pair of amazing friends.

I made the cake. Honey and whole wheat, carrot , coconut cake. I will maybe do a post on the making of the cake (like I had planned) but no promises. I am a slacker.

I got a new camera! It brings me satisfaction. I've had it for a coupla weeks now. I got the flu and I feel like shit. It reminds how nice it is to be a healthy human. Here's how I feel:

I guess I am going to clean today. I got some high techy bathroom cleaners and what nots. A weird silvery sponge that is suppose to make bathrooms shine like a diamond. I hope so. I guess I will do that now.

I have started listing a few things in my etsy store. I have a few more vintage, as well as handmade items that will be coming slowly, but surely. My blog, as well as my etsy shop are higher on the winter priority list! So if you are interested, please check back!

I also got a haircut at a salon recently. I usually just grow my hair forever and sometimes self cut my hair. I wanted Joanna Newsom's haircut, so I got it! This is the picture I brought in with me.

I recently have had an interest in palomino horses and finches. A few months ago it was pink flamingoes and sea horses.

I think this picture is cool, I found it in images while searching for "fig" recipes.

I am making a wedding cake! Its for two of my dear friends and its going to be my first one. I've seen tons made at the coffee shop and bakery where I work and have confidence it will be amazing. I have some inspirations for this dream cake, but I plan on using those for a post after the cake is completed!

I am obsessed with hair and braids lately, besides chickens. My favorite is the fishbone braid.

Also... here's how to do some cool braids. Its really easy actually,

after some practice and I have really long hair which works well.

I also realize I love braiding other people's hair. I braided my mom's hair into a fishtail braid yesterday.

I have a chicken coop at my new house and he will have gilfriends soon, like maybe even today! My roommate and I keep telling him about his wives and how he is gonna be just like the dude from "Big Love". I think he's excited. The only thing holding us back from setting him up in his outside love coop is the nasty old foxes. So he's inside until he can get a wee bit bigger and scarier and protect his ladies. I quit the gluten and I'm off the wheat. I think I'm allergic. No more pizza and no more bagels. Right now I'm dreaming about pancakes. Wheat is so beautiful and I wish my body thought so too.

I'm packing and moving! To like 3 miles down the road right on the river and it's so exciting. But its all been a bit dramatic and tiresome getting to this point. So, me and my dad always fight and get annoyed by each other and I was living on his property in a mobile home. As cute as I decorate it and want to love it here, it is just difficult dealing with my dad's control issues and the role I play in this father/daughter war. It will be good once I move out. He has been nice in helping me out and its time to move on!!! I also don't really like living by myself and am really excited to have a girl roommate who I adore and is the cutest girl ever! Its my friend Heather who I visited on the Eastcoast and had my Philly/NYC adventures with. We are excited and she's already moved in to our new pad. We are gonna be two peas in a pod like this:

I ran errands today with my guy and then came home went for a run (I'm so out of shape that it's dumb and I felt like I was gonna die and throw up!) and now I'm drinking yerba mate the bottled Guayaki "pure empower mint" so I can pack and clean for a few hours. I'm wearing my bikini top because I want it to be hot and not gloomy. Weird weather patterns are freaking me out.

Should I cut my bangs? I think I'm growing them out?

No, seriously she is the best thing in the world. I just love her so much. She is so sweet and she has the best ideas and opinions. She is a good cook and she keeps everything clean. I wish I could be more like that. She is creative and makes all sorts of cool beaded things that are basically super intimidating for me to even think about learning how to make. Anyways, she is cute and has so much energy. I could only hope to be as good of a woman and mother that she is. I made her a little cheesy card for Mother's Day on Sunday. I was sick today and she brought me everything I wanted to eat and called me like 5 times to ask me how I was and even though I'm 25 and I acted kinda annoyed, but really it was like the best think ever! I worked today at what is suppose to be a chill little coffee shop job but stresses me out oh so badly. It makes me tired and I just want to take a nap as soon as I get home. I ate a mango today, its my favorite. I want another one. The people next door are having an all day, all night party and the music is so bad. Sorry, I'm a music snob big time and my boyfriend is a musical genius, again so sorry. I need to regain my creative spark! Its something I've been thinking about a ton and I really want to start sewing again and just be my general creative self that for some reason I haven't been listening to lately. I just have so many little things to do its hard for me to work and nap and eat mangos and then make stuff. This is something I will be working on and hopefully I will have blogs soon with cute little Chelsea- made things.

I have been crazy day dreaming lately... of little houses and puppies and babies and making dresses and cooking and eating and drinking and rivers and roadtrips and I have spring fever soooo bad! Its all just beginning and I'm so excited! I have sweet little poppies all over my yard and the birds are chirping like crazy.

Stress is Silly!

For a second I thought I was stressed, which just made me more stressed out and more overwhelmed and tired than if I had just taken care of things... well at least I'm better now. Just a phase that is passing. It just took a wee bit of a nervous breakdown and two nights away in a cabin in South Lake Tahoe to get me in check. Jordan and I watched horrible reality TV shows and had meals in bed and cuddled and went to thrift stores and drank smoothies until my funk had passed. I've been in this funk for what feels like a couple months and Jordan made plans for this getaway all by himself for me so needless to say he's a bit of my hero right now. I feel so much better! We went on a midnight walk by the lake and it was all very sweet and we didn't fight and I loved it. I didn't feel like taking pictures and so there is none.

Water in a Wine Glass & a Heart Shaped Bruise

Today I drank water out of a wine glass, studied the heart shaped bruise on my leg, and daydreamed just a bit. Today was unproductive to say the very least. I talked myself into not starting the paper due tomorrow and made egg fried rice. I slept in until noon which I claimed was because of the time change and tried to take an afternoon nap. I couldn't fall asleep, strangely enough I must not have been sleepy. I did go outside to see the sun and my cactus got too much water from the rain and its dead. I will try to re-grow it, but I have to be careful to not get pricked and I couldn't find any gloves that would work for this strenuous task. I think tomorrow I will write a to-do list. I must do something tomorrow, but I have to admit its nice sometimes to not.

Jordan and I are back together. But this is not about that. This is about moving to Portland and having culture shock. This is about being lonely and 20 and listening to Sparklehorse everyday on my rainy, bus ride to my shitty, weird job. This is about the nostalgic bond that is created through time and music and emotions. I consider Mark Linkous a true and dear friend. I am sad he committed suicide. I will miss new creations. I will always listen to his albums with love.

I think I must have lived in New York in a past life or something... It must be true. I LOVE Brooklyn. I love the flea market, the little snowy parks, the little cafes and coffee shops, the hipsters... Philadelphia was also quite and equally amazing. I had so much fun, not only that but I realized I NEED to travel// that's what I like to do. Do what you love, love what you do. BUT... California summers are damn hard to beat... and being all cold and shit just reminds me how I love Cali weather. Oh, and my layover was in Minneapolis Mn., and when I walked out of the plane and could just barely feel the -7 degree outside I remembered how lucky our winters are. DANG that was a temperature I've never felt before! FOR REALLLZZZ. My God, how do they live like that? I am going to start planning my next trip and I'm pretty sure next up is out of this country. LIKE PARIS!

My house is a very, very fine house! And I cleaned it oh so nicely. I cleaned all the rooms. My bedroom looks so sweet and minty!

We are going to the Amish market-- which I am sooooo excited about! Like these chicks are hardcore baking their bread on a fire and shit!! They still churn their butter and their stuff is the real deal. I'm hoping I find an awesome basket or something!!! Ahhhhhh! STOKED! We are also going to NEW YORK CITY! Again, I am so excited I'm jumping up and down and running around the house. I hope we get to go to this awesome bar I found online called Death and Co. cause I totally want a Velvet Warhol cocktail. Looks quite schmancy. ALSO we are going to eat sushi where Heather works in Philly at Pod. OMG! Amazzzzing.

Also... I had a dream I got a cat and named it Mookie Galaxy. And this is going to happen and I am going to call it Mook for short, because yes I have already thought about it! HahahahA!

It's snowing and cold and beautiful. The storm has been a bit of a blizzard and this is weather I have rarely experienced. Trees fell the power is out and I feel like its the olden days with candles and no heaters. I couldn't live like this and I am grateful this weather isn't the norm, but still I feel nostalgic and old fashioned. I miss my love, I miss last year this time and everything I took for granted (The polaroid was taken last year), I miss the summer and being half naked and warm, I miss sleeping outside and falling asleep dizzy from beer and hot summer nights. But I love beanies and soft blankets and fires, I love hot tea and knitting, I love mittens and rain and a little snow, and a night without electricity. I do miss the boy that has my heart, but I do not wish for him.

I wish everything was as easy as it almost feels like it could be.

I saw my friend Jim today. I work at a coffee shop and he is one of my favorite customers of all time. It is his kind that make me stoked to have my job. He gets dark roast coffee and puts soymilk, chocolate powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and hot sauce in it. He's almost 60 I guess, and is a river guide with dreads. He is one of the people documented in the documentary, The Same River Twice. However, I didn't know that as I put it in the DVD player a few years ago. I recognized his 28 year old self right away by his familiar laugh. The documentary is amazing, check it out. It makes me want to be twenty something in the 70s or make a documentary of my friends.
